Agonizing about which word to use over the other is my favorite pastime. I learned the ins and outs of writing and language to be a professional writer. The amazing thing about professional writing is not being tied down to one kind of writing or industry. Knowing this empowered me to explore different industries and roles, they all helped me uncover my purpose: to create accessible experiences that allow users to complete their goals. I found my home in UX/content design.

Being a journalist prepared me to ask deep questions to understand what needs to be communicated. Being a marketer gave me the creativity to draw users in. Being a user gives me the ability to empathize and design from informed data.
